Automotive technology for electric bikes
Pinion's MGU integrates the electric motor and transmission into a single unit, while remaining comparable in size to other e-bike motors. Protected by a robust housing, the system is durable, reliable, and requires very little maintenance.

Maximum riding pleasure, minimal maintenance – that's the motto of the new Clutch models. At the heart of the bike is the Pinion engine-gearbox unit with 12 integrated gears. True to the Moustache ethos, the Clutch is available in two versions to suit different usage profiles:
a progressive enduro electric mountain bike with 170/160 mm of travel, and an SUV version with 150 mm of suspension and road equipment.

Thanks to the integration of Pinion's MGU unit in the bottom bracket, the Clutch benefits from a particularly low center of gravity. In addition, around 750 g are saved at the rear thanks to the elimination of the derailleur and cassette. This reduces the unsprung mass. Both of these have a very positive effect on the bike's handling and dynamics.
