Gear focus: Deviate claymore mx mullet

A bike made for Verbier: steep, rough, and with harsh berms. The Claymore MX Mullet is an enduro platform that focuses on four key points: high-pivot, mullet build, Fox Factory suspension, and simplified maintenance.

High-pivot: what you feel on the field

The high pivot changes the trajectory of the rear wheel: it rises and falls slightly when it hits something. The benefit is simple: the bike maintains its speed better and is less likely to be "blocked" by rocks and roots.

  • rear travel: 165 mm
  • Idler (return roller): reduces kickback and maintains a more neutral pedaling feel on rough terrain

If you want us to fix this properly (sag, rebound, compression), go to the bike shop verbier.

mullet mount (mx): 29" / 27.5"

the Claymore MX combination:

  • 29" front tire: stability, precision, better obstacle clearance
  • 27.5" rear wheel: easier to maneuver, more clearance on steep climbs, simpler to turn in tight corners

This setup is well-suited to the tight trails and steep slopes we have here. If you want to try it before you buy, check out our options. bike rental Verbier.

Fox Factory suspension: serious, adjustable

regarding the most common setups:

  • fork: fox 38 factory, 180 mm
  • Shock absorber: Fox Float X2 Factory, to handle the 165mm of travel at the rear

The idea is not to "put on factory parts for looks", but to have a suspension that holds up when you ride hard and that can be finely adjusted according to your weight, your style and the terrain.

For assembly, sizes and availability, see bike sales Verbier.

Maintenance: Grease ports + clean cables

deviate thought about real life:

  • Grease ports on the pivots: you can remove moisture and dirt more easily, without disassembling everything.
  • Well-guided internal passage: less noise, less friction, cleaner assembly

For a complete check (suspension, bearings, brake bleeding, service), our Verbier bike workshop takes care of everything.

In short: who is this for?

If you ride aggressive enduro, bike park, rough terrain, and you want a stable but not "truck-like" bike, the Claymore MX is a very good base.
